Applications for 2013 Scholarships provided by Confucius Institute are open
A range of scholarships are available through the Confucius Institute which support students to study in Chinese universities - please read below for more details.
The scholarships cover tuition fees, living allowance, medical insurance and a monthly stipend to cover food and other costs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn Chinese, live alongside Chinese students and teachers and have the time of your life while doing it!
1 - Confucius Institute Scholarships (2013 applications open)
Confucius Institute Scholarships are available for students who want to study Chinese language in China for one or two semesters as well as those who want to get the Master's Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
Please note that deadline to apply for this scholarship is Monday, April 15th, 2013

2 - Shandong University Scholarships (2013 applications closed)
Shandong University Scholarships are available for students wishing to undertake a postgraduate program (master degree, PHD degree).
Please submit your application to Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide by March 29th, 2013

3 - Gap Year Scholarship for School Students (2013 applications open)
The Confucius Institute at the University of Adelaide provides scholarships for high school students in South Australia to study Chinese at a Chinese university during their Gap Year.

4 - Chinese Government Scholarships (2013 applications closed)
Chinese Government Scholarships support three programs for you to study in China as:
- Degree program which you can apply to do a undergraduate degree, master's degree or PHD degree in China.
- Language program with which you can study Chinese language in a Chinese university for 1 to 2 years.
- Scholar program with which scholars can apply to do research in a Chinese university for 1 year.

Scholarships available through the University of Adelaide
University of Adelaide students can study in China as part of their degree through Global Learning.
Tuition fees are waived for students on exchange and scholarships are available.
